Anyway, while the grown ups talked and ate dinner, the kids made a video. It was a late night, and after dessert they were waiting for us to come and see their video, when the news came on.

Charlie woke up on a mission this morning. Actually, he went to bed on a mission last night.
When he woke this morning, his first words were the same as his last words the night before. "I’m going to make a smoothy."
Here are the recipes, (he ended up making a slushy after the smoothy), made up by Chef Charles.
Fruit Slushy For Hot Days
8 blueberries
1 cup of ice cubes
1 banana
1 T Vanilla extract
1 T honey
1 Anise Seed cookie (made by mom)
Place ingredients in food processor one at a time. Blend for five seconds after adding each ingredient.
Fruit Smoothy
1 Banana
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 cup of plain yogurt
1 Anise Seed Cookie
8 blueberries
1T Vanilla Extract
1T Honey
